1. About E2E Compliance

E2E Compliance is an AI-powered tool that helps UK taxpayers prepare their Self-Assessment tax returns. We provide software and guidance to assist with tax calculations and form preparation.

2. Not Tax Advice

E2E Compliance does not provide tax advice. The information and calculations provided by our platform are for guidance purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, you are ultimately responsible for the correctness of your tax return. We recommend consulting a qualified tax professional for complex situations.

3. Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for filing your tax return with HMRC by the deadline
• You are responsible for paying any tax owed to HMRC
• You must not use E2E Compliance for fraudulent or illegal purposes
• You must keep your account credentials secure

4. HMRC Filing

E2E Compliance currently generates a PDF of your prepared tax return. You are responsible for submitting this information to HMRC through their official channels. Direct HMRC filing through E2E Compliance is a planned future feature. E2E Compliance is not affiliated with or endorsed by HMRC.

5. Expert Review

Our Expert Review service connects you with a qualified UK tax professional who reviews your return line-by-line. Tax professionals who carry out reviews do so through our platform — E2E Compliance accepts responsibility for the quality of the review service, not the individual reviewer. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide us.

If a completed Expert Review contains a material error attributable to the reviewer rather than to information you supplied, we will refund the cost of that review. Please contact us within 90 days of the review being marked complete.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, E2E Compliance shall not be liable for any penalties, interest, or additional tax arising from errors in your tax return caused by inaccurate data you provided, or from software calculations where you have been shown the underlying figures. For errors caused by our platform or by an Expert Review we facilitated, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service, and we will issue a refund of that amount on request.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and design on E2E Compliance are owned by E2E Compliance and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software without permission.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for fraudulent purposes. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of E2E Compliance after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
